Marqued

The public feed of Marqee placements.

A placement lands on this page only when the member closes an offer and gives their explicit blessing to publish. Marqee is pre-launch. Until real names arrive, we won't invent examples.

Marqee is pre-launch.

The first placements land here as members close offers and give their explicit blessing to publish. Until then, we won't invent examples, we won't stage composites, and we won't fill this feed with faces that don't belong to anyone. An empty page today is the honest one.

If you scrolled here expecting a wall of names, you understand the promise. This page will earn its names — one strategist-run search, one signed offer, one member's yes at a time. When it does, you'll see them here first.

What a Marqued entry looks like

The shape of one card.

When a member closes an offer and agrees to publish, their card follows a fixed shape. Every entry on this feed carries the same five ingredients — nothing louder, nothing quieter.

  • The role. Job title as it appears on the signed offer letter, verified by the strategist who ran the search.
  • The destination. Company name, or a member-approved category description if the placement is confidential.
  • Before-Marqee context. One or two sentences on where the member was standing when the search began — laid off, first job out of school, returning from a break, moving countries, quiet-quitting, ambitious.
  • A one-line strategist note. The Marqee strategist who prepared the search adds a single line about the shape of the work — the reposition, the outreach track, the interview thesis.
  • The month of the signed offer. No day, no exact date, no salary — just the month the member said yes to the role.
What a member consents to

Explicit, per-card, revocable.

Consent is not one blanket checkbox at signup. Every member sees a preview of their exact card, at the exact URL, before it publishes. They choose five things individually — and can change their mind at any time.

  • How their name shows. Full display name, first-name-plus-initial, or an anonymous move that names only the role level and industry.
  • How the destination shows. Company by name, or a member-approved category — for example, "a global consumer marketplace" or "a Series C developer-tools company."
  • The exact narrative language. Member reviews the strategist's one-line note and edits it, rewrites it, or replaces it entirely before publish.
  • The URL and social preview. Member sees the URL the card will live at and the image that will render in a social share, and clicks publish only when both feel right.
  • The withdrawal path. Every member's dashboard has a one-click pull-down. The URL 410s within an hour, and Marqee submits search-engine removal within twenty-four.
Founding Members · First names on the feed

Founding Members are the first names on this feed.

The first Marqued cards will belong to Founding Members — the first thousand members to sign up while Marqee is still being built. If you want your name on this wall, and you want the strategist who ran your search to have their fingerprints on the card, this is where every card will start. Become one at founding-members.html.

The stance

Why an empty feed is the honest one.

Two paragraphs on the discipline behind this page — and why we chose the harder version of shipping it.

The career industry has a long, quiet habit of borrowing credibility. Composite testimonials with stock photos. Placement counters that reset every quarter. Case studies stitched together from three different searches so the outcome sounds bigger. When we sat down to design Marqued, the temptation was to do the same. Fill the page with plausible names. Let the reader assume. Come back later and swap in real ones when they arrive.

We chose the harder version. Marqued is a public receipt — for the strategist who ran the search, for the member who signed the offer, and for the industry that will eventually decide whether a human-led career concierge is a real category. A receipt with imaginary names on it is not a receipt. It is a marketing artifact wearing a receipt's clothing, and the day someone notices the difference, the receipt is worthless to every real member who trusted us to publish honestly.

An empty feed on day one is a promise that a full feed on day one-hundred will be worth reading.

So we ship the page empty. We tell you it is empty. We tell you why. And we tell you exactly what a real card will contain when the first one arrives — the role, the destination, the before-Marqee context, the strategist's one-line note, the month of the signed offer. That is the deal. Every card that eventually appears on this page will meet it.

The alternative — the one we walked away from — would have bought Marqee a few weeks of borrowed authority in exchange for permanent skepticism from the members who matter. If you are here reading this before the first name lands, you are exactly the member Marqued is built for. When your card publishes, you will know it means something because the empty page you found here today was empty on purpose.

FAQ

Questions about how Marqued gets populated.

Why not fabricate composite placements to fill the feed?

Because Marqued is the public receipt for a Marqee-facilitated hire. A composite is not a receipt — it is a marketing artifact dressed up as one. The moment the industry can't tell the two apart, the feed is worthless to the members who agreed to publish real names.

So we hold the page empty until the first member closes an offer, previews their card, and clicks publish. That first card is worth more than a hundred plausible-looking placeholders, and the second one is worth more once the first one is real.

Can I show up on Marqued as anonymous?

Yes. Every member who publishes to Marqued picks how their card reads. Options include full name, first-name-plus-initial, or an anonymous move that names only the role level and the destination category — for example, Senior Product Designer at a global consumer marketplace.

Confidential moves are common for executives, members with signed offer confidentiality clauses, and members between visa statuses. Anonymous cards are treated as first-class citizens on this feed. They do not sit in a separate section. They do not carry a smaller card. The consent shape is the point, not the visibility.

What happens if I want to opt out after my card is live?

You pull it down from your member dashboard. Within one hour the card is de-published, the URL returns HTTP 410, and Marqee submits a search-engine removal request within twenty-four hours. You do not have to explain the reason and you do not have to talk to anyone.

The card is your card until you decide it isn't. If you later decide you want it back, it is a one-click restore from the same dashboard. Marqee does not charge to publish, does not charge to withdraw, and does not surface the withdrawal anywhere else.

Does Marqee ever announce a placement without the member's consent?

No. Not on Marqued, not on social, not in press outreach, not in a case study, not in a testimonial reel, not in an investor deck. The member's yes is the only signal that puts their placement in public view.

If a member never says yes, the placement stays private for as long as Marqee exists. Internal placement counts stay internal. Strategist bragging rights stay inside the strategist team. Consent is not something the platform reads once at signup and reuses forever — it is per-card, per-surface, and revocable at any time.

When will the first real entry land?

When the first Founding Member closes an offer with a strategist beside them and agrees to publish. Marqee is a pre-launch platform. Strategists are being hired, the member dashboard is being finished, and the first cohort of Founding Members is being onboarded.

We would rather ship this page empty on day one than fill it with faces that don't belong to anyone. If you want to be an early entry on the feed — the way an early customer becomes an early case study for any category-defining product — the path is the Founding Members program.

Who verifies a placement is real before it publishes?

Three humans have to agree the card is accurate and consented before a single word goes live. The strategist who ran the search attaches an internal reference to the signed offer. A Marqee editor reviews the draft against the public guardrails documented at marqued-guardrails.html. The member reviews the exact card and the exact URL and clicks publish themselves.

No auto-publish. No default share. No strategist can publish for a member. No editor can override a member's edit. If any of the three humans disagree, the card doesn't ship, and Marqee escalates back to the member for a decision.

Marqued is the public, consent-first placement feed for Marqee. This page is intentionally empty while Marqee is pre-launch. Cards will populate here only after members close offers and give their explicit blessing to publish. Read the full moderation policy at marqued-guardrails.html.
