The Marqee Hiring Index.

This is the first-party data moat, accumulating in the open. The Marqee Hiring Index measures what actually happens after you apply — interview rate, response rate, referral-vs-cold lift, time-to-first-interview, and the best day and time to apply. Every figure counts only real, consented activity, so the first edition publishes the moment each benchmark crosses the n≥50 threshold. Until then it reads accumulating — never a fabricated number.

The benchmarks

What the numbers will say — once the numbers are sound.

Each benchmark publishes a real figure only after its sample passes the minimum-count threshold (n≥50). Below that, it reads "Accumulating" and shows no value — by design.

While we accumulate

Clearly-cited public data, in the meantime.

Methodology

How the Index is built — and why you can trust it.

The Marqee Hiring Index is built from first-party, consent-based, anonymized application activity. Candidates opt in to anonymized aggregate use; no personally identifying information is stored in or derived for these aggregates (the only identity linkage is a salted, one-way hash). Specifics — exact title, employer, location, and compensation — are collapsed into coarse buckets before any capture. No benchmark is published until its sample passes a minimum-count threshold of n≥50; below that threshold the metric is reported as "accumulating" and no value is shown. Figures are never estimated, projected, or fabricated — they count only what real consented activity produced.

The archive

Published editions.

Each edition is a frozen, methodology-stated snapshot — so any benchmark cited externally is reproducible.

No editions have been published yet. The first edition publishes once the data crosses the n≥50 threshold and a human approves it for release.

FAQ

Questions about the Index.

What is the Marqee Hiring Index?
A set of first-party, consent-based, anonymized benchmarks on the job-application journey — application-to-interview rate, response rate, referral-vs-cold lift, time-to-first-interview, and the best day and time to apply — built from real applications Marqee submits on behalf of members.
Are these numbers real or estimated?
Every figure counts only real, consented activity. Nothing is estimated, projected, or fabricated. A benchmark is published only once its sample passes a minimum-count threshold of n≥50; below that it is reported as "accumulating" and no value is shown.
How is candidate privacy protected?
No personally identifying information is stored in or derived for these aggregates. Candidates opt in to anonymized aggregate use, exact details are collapsed into coarse buckets before capture, and the only identity linkage is a salted, one-way hash. A minimum-count threshold prevents any thin, potentially identifying cell from being exposed.
When does the first edition publish?
The first edition publishes once enough real, consented applications have accumulated to cross the n≥50 threshold for each benchmark. Until then the index reads "accumulating," and we cite clearly-attributed public labor-market data for context.
