Talk to a human

Fifteen minutes with a real strategist. On us.

No slide deck, no discovery form disguised as a sales script — just a quick video call with the same kind of person who would actually run your search. Bring your questions, your doubts, the résumé you keep meaning to fix. Leave with an honest answer on whether Marqee is a fit.

What to expect

A conversation, not a pitch.

We built this call for the people who are somewhere between "still Googling this stuff" and "ready to hand the search over." It's for figuring out which side of that line you're on — nothing more. If you leave the call and decide to keep searching on your own, that's a good outcome. If you leave and decide Marqee is the right partner, that's a good outcome too. Both count.

What it is

A 15-minute one-on-one video call. Camera optional. We'll send a calendar invite with a link you click at the appointed time — no dial-in codes, no software install, works in any modern browser or on your phone. Fifteen minutes is a real cap: if the conversation is going well, we'll ask before we run over, and if the conversation is done in nine minutes, we'll happily give you the other six back.

Who you'll talk to

A Marqee strategist — the same kind of person we'd assign to your search if you signed up tomorrow. Not a BDR reading from a call sheet, not a chatbot in a headset, not a "solutions consultant." A career professional who runs actual job searches for actual members every day.

What we'll cover

Your search — what you're targeting, what's working, what's stuck, and where the hours are going that you wish were going somewhere else. A quick read on whether Marqee's model matches your situation. And an honest answer either way: if we're the right partner, we'll say so and show you the plan or Sprint that fits; if we're not, we'll tell you that too and point you toward whatever we think would actually help — a specific free tool, a different type of service, or just permission to keep doing what you're doing for another few weeks.

What we won't do

No pressure to sign up on the call. No urgency-manufactured discounts that expire at midnight. No scripted objection-handling. No "let me put you on hold and see what my manager can do." If Marqee is not the right move for you, we'd genuinely rather you leave the call knowing that than spend a dollar with us.

What happens after you book

Three light touches, then the call.

We keep the run-up short. You'll hear from us three times between booking and the call itself, and none of them ask for money or an org chart.

Confirmation email

Lands in your inbox within a minute. Calendar attachment for Google, Apple, or Outlook, the video link, the strategist's name, and one-click links to reschedule or cancel. Nothing else — no upsell footer, no drip sequence, no "here's what to expect from Marqee!" newsletter.

Reminder 24 hours before

A short nudge the day before with the same video link and reschedule options. If the day-before nudge lands and something changed, one click moves the call. If it lands and you're all set, ignore it — you don't need to reply.

A one-question intake

A single-field form asking, in one sentence, what would make the call worthwhile for you. That's it. Your strategist reads it before you meet so the 15 minutes goes to your actual question, not to catching them up on why you booked.

Prefer another way in?

A call isn't the only door.

If a 15-minute video isn't how you'd rather spend your Tuesday, here are three quieter options that get you the same answers.

Async

Email hello@marqee.com

Send the same questions you'd ask on the call. A strategist replies within one business day, usually faster. Good if you're overseas, on a tight schedule, or would rather have the answers in writing to re-read.

Try the pricing estimator

See what a plan or Sprint would actually cost given your target application volume, and how it stacks up against pay-as-you-go. No signup, no email capture — just a calculator you can play with for as long as you want.

A short, narrated walkthrough of how the service actually runs — what your strategist does each week, what shows up in your dashboard, what a submitted application looks like on our end. Faster than a call.

Booking FAQ

Good to know.

Yes. Fifteen minutes with a strategist, no card, no invoice, no follow-up-forever spam. The point of the call is to see if we're the right fit for your search. If we are, we'll tell you what plan or Sprint makes sense. If we're not, we'll tell you that too and suggest what to try instead. There's no cost either way, and the call ends at fifteen minutes unless you specifically want to keep going.

No account required. Pick a time on the booking widget, drop in your name, email, and a sentence or two about your search, and we'll email you the calendar invite with the video link. If you'd rather create a free Backstage account first to browse the tools, that's fine too — but it isn't a prerequisite for the call, and nothing about the call requires you to make an account after either.

Absolutely, and we encourage it. Career decisions are household decisions. If a partner, spouse, mentor, or trusted friend is helping you weigh this, invite them — the video link works for up to four people. Just give us a heads-up in the intake so the strategist knows who's on the call and can address everyone's questions, not just yours.

Life happens. Every confirmation email has a Reschedule and a Cancel link — one click, no back-and-forth, no penalty. You can move the call as many times as you need to, right up until the strategist joins the room. If you're within the hour and can't reach the link, reply to the email or write hello@marqee.com and we'll take care of it.

Not by default. The call is a private conversation between you and the strategist — no recording, no transcript, no third-party notetaker unless you specifically ask for one. If you'd like a recording so a partner or mentor can watch it later, tell the strategist at the top of the call and they'll turn it on. Otherwise nothing is captured beyond a few notes your strategist takes for follow-up.

Fifteen minutes. Free. A real human on the other end. Worst case: you leave the call knowing more than you did going in.
