Alumni

Once you're placed, you're in for good.

Marqee alumni keep the strategist, the room, and the door. Every future search you run, your original strategist stays in your corner — warm intros for life, at no charge, because the relationship doesn't end the day you sign an offer letter. This is the page for what that actually means.

Alumni membership

Four things that turn on the day you're placed.

None of them are perks in the loyalty-program sense. They're structural — built into how a placed account is treated inside the system from the evening you accept an offer forward.

The Discord ring — five vertical channels, one room.

Alumni get an invitation to the private Marqee Discord: a small server organized into five vertical channels so conversation lands with people whose work looks like yours. It's the room you drop into after a hard interview loop, when you want an outside read on a comp package, or when you're the one hiring and want a Marqee-vetted candidate first.

Warm intros for life — your strategist stays in your corner.

The strategist who placed you doesn't rotate off. They keep a live line to your account for every future move: the next role, the internal promotion you're weighing, the sideways step to a competitor, the leap to found something of your own. You send them a note, they answer — same person, same context, no re-explaining what you do for a living.

It isn't a hidden retainer or a paid tier. It's how we treat placed members, because a career takes decades and a placement is one week inside that. If your strategist ever leaves Marqee, we hand you off to their successor with the full case file intact so continuity doesn't die with a departure.

Priority readmit — at the plan price you left at.

Careers move. If you come back to Marqee in two years or twelve, you come back at the plan price you left at. Basic that was $29 a week the year you were placed is $29 the year you return, even if the public number has moved. Same for Pro at $49 and Executive at $99. The saved price is attached to your account, not a promo code you have to hunt down.

Readmit skips the intake queue. Your strategist already knows your story, your target range, the interviewers you dreaded, the pitch that finally landed. The search starts the week you say go. No re-onboarding, no case-study PDF that reads like it was written for someone else.

The alumni-only pipeline — roles the ring surfaces for the ring.

A members-only feed of open roles that alumni source for other alumni. When a placed member becomes the hiring manager, the head of talent, or the person on the interview panel with a say in who gets called, they can drop the role into the ring instead of posting it publicly. The feed shows the role, the alum posting it, and how to raise a hand — often before the seat hits a job board at all.

It's a small feed today. It grows as the placed base grows, and it compounds as more alumni move up into hiring roles. That's the trade you're joining: help fill seats when you have them, and other alumni help fill yours when you don't.

The roster today

Honest state of the room.

The alumni roster is small right now — Marqee is pre-launch. Names, companies, and outcomes go here as members are placed and give their explicit written blessing to publish. We won't seed this page with composite examples or archetypes. If a face is on it, they're real, they consented in writing, and their outcome is theirs.

Roster · forthcoming

No named alumni are published on this page yet.

What you'll see here soon: photo, first name and last initial, placement company, role, tier they were on, and a two-sentence outcome note in the member's own words. Anything less specific than that gets left off — no aggregate percentages standing in for people who haven't signed off.

Founding members

The first names on this page will be founding members.

The founding cohort is the first group of Marqee members — the ones who signed on before the roster had anyone on it, on the strength of the strategist, the promise, and a handshake. When placements land, their names populate this page first.

Founding-member terms are locked to the cohort: the price you join at is the price you keep for as long as you're a Marqee member, the strategist you match with is yours for the whole search, and the readmit price is saved to your account the day of your placement. The page you're on now is what that becomes when you look back on it.

FAQ

The questions this page hasn't answered yet.

The day you accept an offer sourced through your Marqee search. Your strategist marks the placement in the dashboard, the plan you were on stops billing, and your alumni access opens the same evening: Discord ring invitation, alumni-pipeline feed unlocked, and a saved readmit price attached to your account. Nothing to sign, nothing to renew.

The ring is a private Discord server organized by five vertical channels: tech and product, design and creative, go-to-market, finance and operations, and people and leadership. Five is small enough to feel like a room, wide enough to cover most white-collar work, and specific enough that every message lands on someone whose day-job actually touches it. If a vertical you belong to isn't there yet, we split a channel when the alumni base can support one.

Your original strategist stays on-call for every future search you run — the next role, the one after that, and the one you take a decade from now if we're both still here. You message them, they respond, they open the doors they can open. It isn't a service tier or a paid retainer; it's how we treat placed members. If your strategist ever leaves Marqee, we hand you off to their successor with the full context intact.

When you come back, you come back at the plan price you left at. If Basic was $29 a week the year you were placed and it's $39 the year you readmit, you pay $29. Same for Pro and Executive. You skip the intake queue — your strategist already knows your story — and the search starts the week you say go. Readmit is invitation-only in the sense that alumni have the invitation by default.

A members-only feed of roles surfaced by other alumni. When someone on the inside of a hiring team wants a Marqee-vetted candidate for a seat they're opening, they post it into the ring instead of a public board. The feed shows the role, the alum posting it, and how to raise a hand. It's small right now. It will grow as the placed base grows and more alumni become the hiring managers.

Because Marqee is pre-launch and we won't invent alumni to fill space on a page. The roster you'll eventually see here — names, companies, roles, and short outcome notes — populates as members are placed and give their explicit written blessing to publish. Composite examples don't belong on this page. Founding members are the first names on it.
