Earn the right to send on a member's behalf.
Certification is the gate between learning and doing. Pass your role track, the required Operating Model module, and the final assessment — then sign the attestation. Only certified team members can review, decide, and send the consequential actions: submit, outreach, the ask.
Finish the Concierge track and the required Operating Model module. The final assessment unlocks automatically once both hit 100%.
How you get certified
Same five steps, every trackCertification is per role track — Concierge, Outreach Specialist, and Customer Support each certify separately, because each owns different consequential actions. Whatever your track, the path is the same five steps:
1 · Complete your role track
Track-dependentWork through every module and lesson in your track. Each lesson ends in a short knowledge check; the track is "complete" only when all checks pass at 80%+. Your Concierge track is at 7 of 10.
2 · Pass the required Operating Model module
Required, cross-role"Working as a Strategist / The Operating Model" is mandatory for every track. It covers what your strategist drafts vs. what you must review, decide, and send — and the honesty guardrails. You're at 5 of 11 lessons.
3 · Pass the final assessment
Unlocks at 100%A timed, scenario-based assessment that mixes your track and the Operating Model. Tests judgment, not recall: when to send, when to escalate, how to catch a draft error. Pass mark 85%. Unlocks once steps 1 and 2 are complete.
4 · Sign the compliance attestation
Before first live sendA short, binding attestation on the guardrails — no guarantees, FTC disclosure, data handling, member-first. You re-sign every time the Operating Model changes. Required before your account is cleared to send.
5 · Get cleared + badged
Recerts annuallyYour strategist lead reviews your first five live actions before sign-off. Once cleared you earn the track badge, your account unlocks sending, and you're entered into the annual recertification cycle.
Inside the final assessment
5 sections · 85% to pass · 2 attemptsForty scenario items, no multiple-guess filler. Most items show you a real-looking strategist draft or member situation and ask what you'd do. You can flag and revisit; the clock is 60 minutes. Two attempts — a third requires a coaching session with your lead first.
The send/hold decision
10 items · 30%Given a strategist-tailored résumé, cover letter, or outreach draft, decide: send as-is, edit then send, or hold. You must catch the planted errors — a fabricated metric, a wrong company name, an over-claim — before they'd ever reach a member or recruiter.
- Spot fabricated facts and unverifiable claims in any draft
- Never submit or send anything unreviewed — that's a flat fail
Escalation judgment
8 items · 20%Identify the moment a senior strategist must step in: member distress, a dispute, a confidential search, a recruiter conflict of interest. Pick the right owner and the right next move — not the fastest one.
- Distinguish tier-1 (your desk) from "escalate now" situations
- Route sensitive cases without exposing member data
Honesty & FTC-safe language
8 items · 20%Rewrite or reject copy that crosses a line — misrepresenting who is on the other end, promising interviews or a salary, hiding the strategist behind the work. Every item has a compliant answer and a tempting non-compliant one.
- Never imply a guaranteed outcome; keep claims substantiated
- Be clear your strategist is behind it; never name or imply a competitor
Consent, control & data handling
8 items · 20%Act only with the member's consent and from their account where required. Decide what you may store, share, or surface — and what stays the member's, always.
- Respect Assisted/approval settings before any consequential send
- Treat the member as the client — never the product
Track practical
6 items · 10%One end-to-end task scored against your track's quality bar (4.7★). Concierge tailors and authorizes a submit; Outreach edits and times a real human send; CS resolves a ticket and escalates correctly.
- Demonstrate proof-of-work the member could actually see
- Hit the quality bar, not just the pass mark
Badges & levels
Your credential, and where it growsIn Training
Learning, shadowing, and drafting — but not yet cleared to send. You prepare; your lead sends on your member's behalf.
Delivery Certified
Cleared to review, decide, and send the consequential actions for your track. Carries a first-5 supervised period.
You're 2 reqs awaySenior Certified
Higher members-per-strategist ratio, can mentor In-Training peers, and reviews escalations for the team.
Lead / Examiner
Signs off first-5 reviews, scores track practicals, and owns recertification calls for their pod.
Recertification
The bar never moves — even as our tools improveCertification isn't forever. As our tooling gets sharper, the strategist judgment bar gets more important, not less — so we re-test it on a schedule and whenever the operating model shifts.
Annual recert — due each year
Last passed Mar 2026A shorter re-assessment (sections A1–A4) plus a fresh attestation signature. Takes ~30 minutes. Your next annual recert is due Mar 2027.
Triggered recert — when the model changes
Event-basedAny change to the delivery map (what your desk drafts vs. what you send), a new guardrail, or a new tool triggers a targeted re-cert on just the changed area before you keep sending.
Quality-triggered recert — if scores slip
Auto-flaggedIf your quality score drops below the 4.7★ bar or an audit finds an unreviewed send, certification pauses to In-Training until you re-pass the relevant section with your lead.
