Package including super vs base plus super.
Australian offers quote compensation two different ways, and the difference is real money.
Package including super — the number includes your super guarantee. A A$100,000 package including super is A$89,686 base + A$10,314 super (at 11.5%). Common at large enterprises like CBA, Westpac and Woolworths.
Base plus super — the number is base salary, super is on top. A A$100,000 base + super is A$100,000 base + A$11,500 super — total package A$111,500. Common at tech firms like Atlassian and Canva.
Same "A$150k" — very different money.
